I like this one too as it is so concrete for the children. I have found that it is hard to find the right spot to collect the rain and allow the children to see it rise. Some classrooms are better equipped to have this happen. Sometimes, the rain comes sideways and blows the bowl over so try and weigh it down a bit.

This is a good way for children to see hands on experiences and after the lesson, as a class, you can discuss your data collection and outcomes.
