I would ask child 1 to get a block. What ever color block the child returns with, is the color blocks, I ask him/her to put on the shelf. And so on, with another child.

It isn’t hard to look around find tons of activities for the children to do that strengthen their number, sorting, analyzing concepts. We just have to be alert and intentional with our interactions. The suggestions in this blog post are great!
