This is a fun way for children to learn with visual and real object. I think they make a better connection with hands on activities.

This is a great activity. I love the idea of allowing the children to move and place their own mitten on the mat. It has so many possibilities: colors, counting, matching the mitten to the right student and move on to the number of hats and matching the mittens to the hats.
