intersting, my assistant teacher is very ESFJ and I am very INFP…so she is big on routine..we are working on the best practice for each new group of children

I am trying to have a flexible daily routine!! The sequence of events is set by when we have gym or playground time…but within that schedule I have some flexibility…I have been trying to start out with a specific routine and then flex with fun activities.

I agree that a routine is good, but absolutely believe that you have to be flexible at the same time. Some of the best teaching moments come up unexpectedly.

Following daily routine is a good start to discipline our young children from simple putting away the toys after playing and washing hands after eating up to more complicated activities of their lives.

Absolutely. Knowing what comes next is so important for young children. It really establishes a sense of security around the schedule and helps them understand sequencing.
