You are right- Sometimes, observation gives children the time they need to get involved. If they see other children enjoying the activity and they are reassured that the eyeballs aren\’t as scary as they thought, they might try it.
This is one of those activities that I might put out, and then expect that only some children will be interested.

By placing each eye ball in one pumpkin tray is one to one correspondent. I was thinking that having Halloweens objects like eyeballs might turn some children around. However if they see that other children are enjoining playing they might just join in.
